The Role of Master Data Manager

The Master Data Manager will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining master data structures across key management systems. Your expertise in data governance will drive improvements in reporting accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage master data structures across business systems.
• Develop and implement data governance policies, ensuring integrity and compliance.
• Maintain a register of data owners and their responsibilities.
• Analyse and resolve data inconsistencies impacting business processes.
• Design and conduct database audits, recommending system improvements.
• Create and maintain data mapping records between systems.
• Provide training, support, and induction programs on data management best practices.
• Collaborate with Group IT to ensure compliance with data protocols.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Master Data Manager or in a similar role
• Experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous
• Proficiency in database design, data modelling, and data warehousing
• Familiarity with SQL
• Knowledge of Data Governance, Compliance and Quality Management
• Project management capability
• Awareness of change management and impact on delivering projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Problem solving and adaptability
