Production Supervisor
Location: Pontefract, West Yorkshire
Shift: 4 on 4 off Days 
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per year

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join a leading meat processing company. This role is essential in overseeing production line operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. You will coordinate and assign tasks to production line workers, ensuring the smooth running of operations while meeting product specifications and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up production lines and machinery for efficient operation.

  • Ensure machinery runs safely and efficiently throughout the shift.

  • Foster a positive and motivating environment for your team.

  • Work alongside shift managers to optimize team performance.

  • Complete necessary paperwork including pre-operation checks and product changeovers.

  • Troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Ensure product quality meets customer specifications.

  • Maximize line efficiency to achieve daily production targets.

  • Manage and train team members for optimal performance.

  • Maintain safety standards in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in production and process management.

  • Ability to optimize production processes and deliver results.

  • Experience in coaching and training staff.

  • Production qualification (desirable but not essential).
