Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

  • Location: Pontefract
  • Working Days: Every Wednesday and Thursday
  • Start Date: Immediately after Easter
  • End Date: Until the Summer Holidays

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in YR3/4 at a primary school in Pontefract. This role is perfect for someone enthusiastic about education and eager to make a positive impact on young learners.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Work with small groups and individual students to provide targeted support.
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of learning activities.

  • Supervise students during break times and other activities as needed.
