PMLD Mentors- SEN School in Pontefract

I am currently working with a fantastic SEN School located in Pontefract WF7 who are seeking to recruit full-time PMLD Mentors to support there pupils starting from January 2025 for temporary to permanent contracts.

This SEN school currently cater for PMLD students with an age range of 11-19 and currently have three teaching pathways depending on the pupils needs and communication level.

The role of a PMLD Mentor in this school will be to:

  • Support pupils in the classroom on a day to day basis.
  • Working with multiple pupils and supporting students with 1-2-1 support and Intervention.
  • Support pupils with their holistic development in line with there Educational Health Care Plans.
  • Support with changing (personal care), feeding at lunch times and general care for the pupils.
