Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are looking for experienced Production Operators for a leading Manufacturing Client in the Llantrisant area.

These positions are Tempoary to Permanent for the right candidates.

Position Overview

To carry out a variety of tasks in relation to Safety, Production, Quality, Line Changeovers, Material handling, Administration and Housekeeping so as to ensure maximum production output of finished goods.

* Carry out full line changeovers in accordance with the Clients Internal Changeover Validation process.

* Carry out Line Wash Out Cycles.

* Adopt and implement changeover methodology (SMED) to improve and reduce changeover times.

* Manage a production line and associated equipment effectively.

* Monitor line performance and problems arising.

* Carry out line adjustments where necessary to ensure maximum/quality output subject to competence/training.

* Work continuously towards improvements in line efficiency.

* To work as part of a team and to impart expertise to others as necessary.

* Ensure Company quality standards are maintained.

* Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.

* Use a variety of transportation to ensure the safe handling of necessary materials.

* Perform administrative tasks including completion of line documentation.

* Follow Production plans.

* Use ERP systems to maintain stock accuracy.

* Follow all relevant housekeeping procedures to ensure that the highest level of cleanliness is maintained at all times.

Shifts available - Monday to Friday/mornings and afternoons/6am to 1.30pm/1.30pm to 9.30pm.

Shift available - Sunday to Thursday Nights/Sunday 11pm to 6am/Monday to Wednesday 9.30pm to 6am/Thursday 9.30pm to 2am.

Uniform and PPE provided.

The hourly rate is £11.44 plus 20% shift allowance on morning and afternoon shifts/33.33% shift allowance on nights.
