We are looking for Logistics Coordinator

£ 24 k per annum

Location Llantrisant

Immediate start

Shift Monday to Thursday 8am-4.30pm Friday 8am to 2pm

Mach Recruitment is recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to work in a manufacturing company in Llantrisant.

The role:

Operate a safe working environment in line with company policies & procedures.

Maintaining records of personal development and training.

Arrange transport for deliveries of tanks, parts and other goods leaving site

Preparation of despatch notes/ labels and other documentation for despatches

Issuing of picking priority lists and BOMS to factory operatives

Supporting warehouse cycle counts and investigating reasons for variances as necessary.

The below would need to be covered in the case of absence: Review picking capacity plan to ensure we are on track to meet FDDs Bulk & part packing of BOMs Goods in data entry, including records of WIP sent to/ from sub-contractors for processing

Ad hoc duties within the operations team.

About you:

As a Logistics coordinator you will have the following skills and experience:

Basic literacy & numeracy

Previous experience within a transport administration role is desirable.

Skills & Abilities

Strong organisational and decision-making skills is essential.

Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

Excellent inter-personal skills.

First class planning & organisational skills.

Good presentation, written and oral communication skills.

Must be an innovative thinker and commercially aware

Must be willing to develop interpersonal and communication skills

Must be computer literate particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word and Engineering software packages for which further training will be provided.
