Pertemps is partnering with the Royal Mail to hire Postal Delivery Workers for a 6-month period in Pontyclun due to increased demand.
The role requires candidates to work 5 days a week, with shifts starting between 8:30 and 12:00, and offers an hourly rate of £13.37, rising to £14.49 on Sundays and £15.68 for overtime after 40 hours.
Ideal candidates should be self-motivated, enjoy working outdoors, and possess a full UK manual driving license with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
While previous experience in a customer-facing or delivery role is preferred, it is not essential, and candidates must pass a full DBS security check before starting.

You will collect your allocated vehicle or trolley and your hand-held computer device (detailing your route and tracking your mail) and then deliver the letters and parcels to your local community.About You- The ideal candidate for this role will be upbeat, self-motivated, and happy to work alone as well as part of a team.- You will be helpful and approachable displaying a strong sense of community, as you get to know the people you meet on your round.- Royal Mail deliver parcels whatever the weather, so you will enjoy working outdoors and due to the amount of walking required you will need to be relatively fit and healthy.- You will be smartly presented, always acting in a professional and courteous manner.Previous Experience- Some previous experience in a customer facing or delivery role would be ideal but not essential.- You will be required to complete a full DBS security check prior to commencing work.- Driving licence requirements- A full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address)- Maximum 6 penalty points- Unfortunately, we are unable to accept IN/DD/DR/CD endorsementsIf you are interested in this role, please apply online or contact Pertemps South Wales on .
