The successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to help drive financial and commercial strategies forward. They also have a strong recent track record of internal promotion and would look for this role to develop over the next 18 months.Your main responsibilities will include:
- Develop and manage accurate financial reporting, including monthly management accounts, KPIs, and other commercial reporting
- Ensure rolling financial forecasts are timely and support business critical decision making
- Conduct financial analysis, including cost analysis, pricing analysis, and profitability analysis, to identify areas for improvement, cost optimisation, and revenue enhancement.
- Conduct detailed cost-benefit analyses for make-vs-buy decisions and capital investment opportunities
- Establish and monitor product line contribution margins and support pricing strategies
- Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and business cases for new investments
