Physiotherapist Tech- Band 4

Location: Torfaen (South Wales)Salary: Band 4

We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapy Technician (Band 4) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The post holder will assist in the delivery of high-quality physiotherapy services, supporting qualified physiotherapists in the rehabilitation and care of patients. The role involves assisting with patient treatments, conducting exercise programs, and ensuring the smooth running of the physiotherapy department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist qualified physiotherapists in delivering rehabilitation programs to patients.
  • Provide hands-on support to patients, guiding them through exercises and mobility training.
  • Carry out prescribed treatment plans under the supervision of a physiotherapist.
  • Prepare and maintain physiotherapy equipment and treatment areas.
  • Monitor and record patient progress, reporting any concerns to the physiotherapist.
  • Educate patients on self-management techniques and exercise routines.
  • Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and updating patient records.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to infection control protocols.
