Are you an experienced Detailed Draughtsperson looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic engineering environment? We are seeking a skilled professional to produce high-quality general arrangement and layout drawings, detailed manufacturing drawings, and material profiles for CNC laser cutting.

The Role:

• Interpret contract documentation and specifications to ensure compliance with industry regulations and project requirements.
• Participate in production and project review meetings to maintain project timelines.
• Create high-standard general arrangement and layout drawings for manufacturing purposes.
• Produce sheet/plate pattern profiles for laser cutting and fabrication.
• Collaborate with sales, project teams, and management to ensure smooth project execution.
• Generate parts lists, bills of materials, and identify necessary materials and proprietary items for procurement.
• Conduct cost analysis to optimize manufacturing expenses.
• Contribute to the development of innovative products to enhance the existing product range.

The Person:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience in the engineering industry.
• Knowledge of fabricating, welding, and machining processes.
• Strong understanding of materials handling equipment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Ability to interpret contract documentation, specifications, and P&ID drawings.
• Proficient in 2D CAD and experienced in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred).
• Good understanding of Health and Safety Regulations and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish and nurture effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
