Support students across a range of subjects within the classroom, under the direction of the class teacher.
Provide one-to-one or small group support, especially for students with additional learning needs.
Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom displays.
Promote positive behaviour and contribute to the maintenance of a safe and stimulating learning environment.
Help track student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
Support students with physical, emotional, or behavioural difficulties, in line with their individual education plans (IEPs) where appropriate.
Supervise students during non-teaching times such as break and lunchtime if required.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.
Follow safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the welfare of students is paramount.
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
