As a TA, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils with a variety of learning needs. You may work one-on-one with students, support small groups, or assist in whole-class settings. Roles are available across Foundation Phase, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, with opportunities to work in SEN settings depending on experience and preference.
Key Responsibilities:
Support pupils' learning and development under the guidance of the class teacher.
Provide one-to-one support for pupils with additional learning needs.
Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and displays.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
Promote positive behaviour and ensure a safe and inclusive environment.
Help with break time supervision and other non-teaching tasks as required.
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
