Hours: Full time. Monday - Friday (07:00 - 15:30) - (13.00-23.00) Days and Afternoons on a rotational basis

Job Purpose:Reporting to the Chimney Team Leader, you will be mainly working in the Brick Clad department with responsibility for cladding Chimney's using bricks to match engineering drawings, job sheets and to customer specifications. The position will also provide cover to other departments to meet production demands. The Position

  • Clad and Assemble units using brick slips or similar product
  • Cut raw materials for assembly purposes using circular saws
  • Produce products to quality standards
  • Achieve daily work targets
  • Working safely and effectively using manual and mechanical methods
  • Maintain safe and clean working area
  • Wear correct and appropriate PPE for the department

The Person

  • Experience of working in a busy production environment
  • Must have carpentry skills/experience
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety and the requirements for working with machinery, glues and resins
  • Experience of producing work to a high standard of accuracy and quality/Carpentry experience is essential
  • Reliable with an excellent attendance record
  • Able to work with little supervision following initial training and induction

The Package

  • Hours of Work - 40 hours per week (weekend and shift working may be required)
  • Rate of Pay - To be agreed, depending on experience
