This role is for a Financial Controller, looking to bring financial expertise and leadership to a reputable organisation. The candidate will have the ability to manage accounting and finance operations, whilst driving improvements and efficiencies.

Description
- Preparation and control of monthly management information.
- Preparation of annual financial statements and management of the year end audit process.
- Preparation of VAT, Corporate Tax, and any other local tax returns
- Preparation and presentation of quarterly board reporting, and other Ad-Hoc reporting as needed.
- Leading with budgeting and forecasting for the company.
- Identifying opportunities for and driving process improvement and efficiencies across all finance activities.
- Liaising and building effective relationships with various stakeholders both internally and externally
Profile
A successful Group Financial Controller should have:
- A qualification in Accounting or Finance (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Previous experience in a similar position, including experience of providing Financial Control for organisations within the £10mn to £50mn bracket.
- Sound and up to date knowledge of UKGAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Excellent Excel modelling skills
- Multi-Currency experience desirable
- Any knowledge of Business Central would be desirable.
