Service Advisor - Main Dealer - Pontypridd - 25,000 to 28,000 + Overtime + Bonus
Alecto Recruitment is currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join a prestigious main dealer in Pontypridd. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
The Role:
- Salary: 25,000 to 28,000 + overtime + bonus
- Bonus Structure: Advisors earn 5% of all work they upsell over the month, providing a significant earning potential.
- Hours: Monday to Friday on a rota:
- Week 1: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Week 2: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for customers, providing excellent service both in person and over the phone.
- Book in vehicles for servicing, repairs, and MOTs, managing the schedule efficiently.
- Communicate with customers regarding their vehicle's status, including any additional work required, ensuring all upselling opportunities are maximised.
- Liaise with the workshop team to keep customers updated and ensure repairs and services are completed on time.
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally, aiming for a swift resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and vehicle service histories.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar Service Advisor role within the automotive industry.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to upsell services and repairs.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Full UK driving license.
