Position: Welsh Speaking Teacher

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Welsh Speaking Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons in Welsh, fostering a positive learning atmosphere, and promoting the use of the Welsh language throughout the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Welsh for students of varying abilities.
• Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the Welsh curriculum.
• Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning.
• Promote the Welsh language and culture within the school community.
• Attend staff meetings, parent evenings, and professional development sessions as required.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events.

Requirements:

• Fluent in Welsh (both written and spoken).
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Welsh or teaching in a Welsh-medium setting is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
• A passion for promoting Welsh language and culture.
