Costing Accountant

CMA Recruitment Group is currently partnering with a well-established manufacturing business based in Poole, Dorset, who are looking to hire a Costing Accountant on a permanent basis.  Reporting to the Finance Director and working in as part of a large finance team, the successful candidate will have significant involvement in the production of commercial finance insights and management information.

What will the Costing Accountant role involve?

• Preparation of production focussed reports, including review and analysis.
• Monitor production costing budgets vs actuals, communicating variances when required.
• P&L analysis, primarily focussing on budgeted costs.
• Business partner with members of the production team to communication financial information.
• Ad hoc reporting when required.

Suitable Candidate for the Costing Accountant vacancy:

• To be considered for this position candidates need to be ACCA / CIMA qualified or finalist level.
• Previous manufacturing experience in a bonus but isn’t essential.
• Experience working in a role focussing on costing as also beneficial.
