This is an exciting and varied role, assisting the Finance and Investment Accountant with day-to-day activities that are outlined in the Job Description below.
De Lisle Partners LLP is a privately owned investment management firm formed in July 2005 and specialising in US equity investments. The AUM is over £450m.
Founder Richard de Lisle has over 40 years of experience in the US equity market. Richard is lead manager of the private Emmanuel College Endowment Fund and the VT De Lisle America Fund which is open to the public.
Both funds are invested in US equities with a mid- and smaller-cap bias as these have a record of long-term outperformance.
Skills and Experience required for the role
- Qualified or finalist accountant (ACCA or equivalent).
- Work experience of or displaying the willingness and ability to learn about working in the financial services industry, preferably investment management.
- Experience of or displaying the willingness and ability to learn about Compliance and Regulatory reporting (especially FCA).
- Experience with Xero would be an advantage, but not essential.
- Proficient with MS Office and SharePoint.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
