This is a brand-new position where you'll have the opportunity to shape financial strategies, improve profitability and streamline processes. Working closely with the General Manager and having a dotted line to the Group CFO, you'll play a key role in driving the business forward. With hybrid working, a supportive team, and a variety of benefits, this could be the perfect step for someone looking to take on more responsibility.Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Reviewing and enhancing internal policies, identifying areas for positive change and increased efficiency
  • Working with the General Manager to drive improvements in margins, profitability and ROI
  • Leading and developing a finance team of two staff members
  • Taking ownership of monthly management accounts, including P&L, KPIs, budgeting and forecasting
  • Monitoring stock and inventory reporting, ensuring accuracy and effective cost management
  • Offering insights to support business decisions and contribute to financial strategy
What you will need:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as Financial Controller / Finance Director / Head of Finance / Finance Manager
  • To be a qualified accountant ( ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
  • A background in manufacturing (ideally)
  • You're either ready to step up into your first Financial Controller role or already experienced and looking for a fresh challenge
  • You communicate effectively and can build strong relationships across the business, balancing commercial awareness with emotional intelligence
  • You’re proactive, adaptable, and not afraid to challenge the status quo constructively
