Overview:

A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Creative Strategist to join a fast-paced digital marketing agency. The agency specializes in paid advertising, performance creatives, and email marketing, working with a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from startups to large national brands. This role is integral in developing and executing data-driven creative strategies that help clients achieve their business goals. The ideal candidate must have experience in creative strategy and possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Role:

The Creative Strategist will be responsible for developing performance-driven strategies based on client KPIs, audience research, and insights from social platforms. This role requires close collaboration with designers and Paid Social Specialists to create compelling, high-converting creatives. You will also lead creative testing roadmaps, manage multiple projects, and ensure that all deliverables align with client expectations.

  • Creative strategy development: Use data insights to develop informed messaging strategies that resonate with target audiences. Deep diving into client reviews and social platforms to pull out key: Product/company value propositions; Customer pain points; Desired outcomes; Purchase prompts; Misconceptions & objections.
  • Creative testing roadmaps: Create and optimize testing strategies based on client KPIs and audience research.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and other Paid social Specialists to brief creative iterations and brainstorm new ideas.
  • UGC content: Ensure the consistent delivery of user-generated content (UGC) for each client account, maintaining high-quality standards. Provide feedback to UGC creators to improve their creative content.
  • Trend awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest social platform trends and creative angles.

Requirements:

The successful candidate must be a highly analytical individual with at least 2 years of experience in creative strategy or media buying, preferably within an agency setting. We are looking for someone who can take initiative, work independently, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • 2+ years of experience in creative strategy or media buying.
  • Expertise in reporting on creative performance metrics (e.g., hook rate, hold rate).
  • Strong knowledge of creative systems and platforms.
  • Excellent research and pattern recognition skills.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to understand human psychology, sociology, and consumer behavior.
  • Leadership and team management experience is a bonus.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Location: Remote, Poole, United Kingdom (preference to candidates in and around Poole area)
