A Part Time Accounts Assistant is being recruited exclusively by Bond Williams Accounting and Finance for our Poole based client. It is all office based for 22.5 hours per week, but these hours can be worked to suit the individual. Reporting to the Office Manager, you would have responsibility for:Processing invoices, income receipts and staff expensesMaintaining fixed asset registerBalance sheet reconciliations including accruals and prepayments Preparation of a budget control statement for review by senior teamBanking, bank reconciliations and paymentsVAT returnsHandling all accounting queriesLiaising with external payroll and pension providersOversight of purchasing and working with others to ensure best value when procuring supplies and servicesProviding support to the Accountant at year endSuitable CandidateGood level of academic achievements and ideally at least up to AAT 3 Previous experience in a similar varied role using computerised accounts software - experience of Xero an advantageProficiency in Excel including manipulating data, conducting analysis and generating insights using formulaesGood communication skills and ability to work as part of a teamExcellent attention to detailBenefitsHours - 22.5 flexible to suit individualOn site parkingEmployer pension of 15%26 days holiday + bank holidaysAnnual reviewsIf you have the right experience for this interesting and varied role please get in touch with us immediately.
