B2B Business Development Manager - Subscription Sales / SaaS - Poole / Hybrid - Competitive Basic + generous uncapped OTE

We’re on the hunt for a highly motivated, dynamic and personable Business Development Manager, ideally with SaaS / subscription sales experience, to join a fantastic organisation on a hybrid working basis (2 days/week in their lovely Dorset or London offices).

Following training on the product and services our client offers, you will combine strong product knowledge with industry know-how to build strong relationships whilst speaking to B2B decision makers.

Your resilient, tenacious and ambitious nature together with a positive and 'can-do’ attitude will ensure you succeed in this great sales role.

Our client is offering a competitive basic salary (£35k basic)with a generous uncapped OTE (1st year £55k OTE, 2nd year £70k). Key responsibilities as the Business Development Manager will include:

  • Exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets through the generation of new business
  • Developing a strong pipeline of business
  • Speaking to relevant B2B decision makers
  • Demonstrating the SaaS platform to its full potential to potential clients
  • Preparing, presenting and negotiating business proposals to clients
  • Clinching the deal
  • Maintaining accurate records of sales activity using SalesForce

What we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrable success in similar B2B sales roles
  • Experience in SaaS / subscription sales is highly advantageous
  • Good business acumen with demonstrable negotiation / closing skills
  • Strong objection handling capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build lasting business relationships
  • Professional, confident, proactive and flexible approach to work
  • Results driven with strong client focus
  • IT literate with excellent MS Office skills
  • Experience using SalesForce or a similar CRM system is highly beneficial
  • Ability to maintain composure in high-pressured situations
