Overall job Purpose
Reporting to our Marketing Director Brands, this role was created to lead the marketing calendar and strengthen the link between our Design, Product and Sales teams. The Marketing Manager will be involved in all aspects of marketing for the brand, contributing to the growth and development of this established and prestigious brand. Success will be measured through the delivery of successful campaigns and positive customer feedback.
Role & Responsibilities
- To manage campaigns through briefing to approval: including proof reading and gaining relevant approvals, requiring excellent attention to detail
- To contribute ideas and copy for customer communications and promotional product material - adjusting tone and content appropriate to various channels
- To research, write and gain feedback for marketing copy to be used in marketing material
- To support the execution of digital campaigns using email, social media, corporate and customer websites
- To support the team in the creation of catalogues and other printed collateral
- To liaise with brand Area Sales Managers who require marketing information from other internal departments and co-ordinate timely responses
- To support the co-ordination of national and customer trade shows - organising displays, production of branded materials, and sales literature
- To ensure customer requests for images and data are responded to swiftly, requiring excellent written and verbal communication in order to represent the brands to the highest standard
- Close liaison with our Design and Product teams to enable effective planning of launch campaigns
- Responsible for 1 marketing executive; working closely together to deliver marketing plan across digital platforms and print requirements
- Occasional travel to our showroom in Leeds to support set-up or other activity as required

A marketing qualification is not essential, two/three years’ experience of a similar role is desired. Developing an interest in learning about the markets in which the brands operate will be necessary to be successful - building towards a keen interest in the external environment, such as competitor and customer activities.
The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running to join a busy and committed team and enjoy the buzz of a demanding schedule.
