Principal Drainage Engineer- Poole

My client, a UK based Consultancy which specialises in Civil and Structural Engineering, is searching for a Principal Drainage Engineer to lead their Team in Poole.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in Engineering (including a BSc and MSc in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering) and have achieved or are working towards chartered status.

It is also essential for applicants to have experience working within a UK based Consultancy completing detailed Drainage and Road designs in respect of Section 38, Section 104 and Section 278 schemes using AutoCAD, Microdrainage, Hec-Ras and FEH.

It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience mentoring team members and completing Flood Risk Assessments and designs for Commercial and Residential Developments.

Typically the role will involve the following;

-Highway, Drainage and Residential Infrastructure Projects.
-Detailed Drainage and Highway designs in respect of S104, S106 and S278 Schemes for Residential Developments and Housing Developers.
-Detailed Drainage and Highways designs using AutoCAD and Microdrainage.
-Sewer and SuDS designs using Microdrainage.
-Flood Risk Assessments.
-Report Writing.
-Mentor Team Members.
-Frequent liaison with Private Sector Clients, Housing Developers and Business Associates.
