Live In Care / Lifestyle Assistant for a Film enthusiast and student

We have an amazing opportunity for you to become a Personal Assistant to a student studying Film at Bournemouth University.
Start Date: Mid September 2024
Location: Bournemouth (BH12)
Shift Pattern: 5 shifts on / 5 shifts off on a rolling rota (Start times to be discussed at screening stage) - Days one week, then nights week two.
Rate of Pay & Benefits
Pay: £200 per shift
Holidays: 5.6 weeks (pro rata)
Bespoke training in the clients particular requirements will be provided
On-call support from client coordinator
Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided.

Personal Care Bathing, Dressing, Toileting.
Health Care Administering medicine, using medical equipment, physio.
Commuting Driving the clients adapted vehicle
Social Support Going to events, club and pubs
Housekeeping / Domestic duties including cooking
A UK Automatic Driving Licence is required for this position.

Hes passionate about his film degree and enjoys diverse activities, from watching vintage films to cheering for Brighton in football. Our client values independence and is seeking a supportive PA who can assist with daily tasks while appreciating his dry humour and energetic lifestyle.

you need to be upbeat and energetic to fit with my outgoing nature. You need to be able to be independent yourself as there will be times when I do not need you, sorry! When I am home, you will have to be able to adapt to a more relaxed environment as my family life will be different to home life.
As we are spending a lot of time together, it is important that we have a good chemistry, friendly relationship and are able to have banter together.
You will need:
Clean Automatic Driving licence (Essential)
To be physically fit, calm, patient, friendly and caring
Assist with physio and exercise
Good organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative
To have a good sense of humour
A mature and responsible attitude
Good communication skills
To be fluent in English.
To be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways.
