Control Systems Engineer

Location: Poole

Salary:£45k - £55k DOE per annum

Benefits:

  • Annual bonus (subject to targets)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Control Systems Engineer to design and program control systems for machines, from small bench units to bespoke automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • PLC & HMI programming (Siemens TIA Portal, Omron, Rockwell)
  • Future robot programming
  • Produce electrical drawings and layouts
  • Build and wire control panels
  • Create BOMs and manuals as needed
  • On-site commissioning when required
  • Assist with electrical & mechanical assembly
  • Work proactively within a small team
Requirements:
  • Experience in PLC & HMI programming
  • Electrical design and panel-building skills
  • Ability to produce technical documentation
  • Hands-on approach to assembly
  • Team player with a proactive mindset
