Salary: Circa £29K DOE

Hours: 7.30am-4pm Mon-Fri, 7.30am-1pm Friday office based

Aspire Jobs are pleased to be working in an exclusive partnership with our client who are a well-established, fast paced electronic manufacturing business.

Now looking for an additional Sales Administrator to join their small but closeknit sales team. The whole purpose of the Sales Administrator will be to build and develop relationships with your given customers in order to maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for liaising with internal departments to communicate the customers’ needs.

This fast-paced role would suit someone with strong customer service skills and ethos, who has a good telephone manner and isnt frightened of picking up the phone to customers. You will be the main customer contact for around 20 customers ranging from small to large and will see you working very closely with the production departments. You will be able to interpret technical language and jargon (with training) and then relay that information back to your customers so that they fully understand what the process is.

Our client works across many different sectors and quality is key to everything that they do. They have AS9100 and ISO9001 so if you have worked to quality procedures or within electronics or manufacturing previously it would be really helpful but is not essential.

This is a caring company where teamwork is key. Everyone cares about the company and the quality of both the work that is produced but also the relationships with customers. Most of their business is won from referrals or repeat customers. They are passionate and still have a family feel about them even though they have grown over the years. Individuals are rewarded for efficiencies and output of work.

The Sales Administrator would suit someone: -

  • With previous sales or customer service experience
  • Strong IT skills particularly Excel and Word
  • Process driven
  • Someone who is curious and wants to find out how products are made and asks relevant questions
  • Has a confident and clear communication manner with clients and isnt frightened of picking up the phone
  • Can demonstrate the ability to build relationships over the phone
  • Can work in a fast paced, deadline driven business
  • If you have any experience of working in Electronics or manufacturing previously then so much the better but its not essential
  • If you have project management experience, then great!
  • You will be able to use diplomacy and tact when needed
  • Have a strong desire to succeed
  • Have an excellent eye for detail and be able to multi-task

There is the opportunity to go out with a Director or Senior Manager to exhibitions or client lunches.

Full training will be given, and you will be fully supported. The team are a friendly bunch who have a laugh, with office banter and generally have fun whilst at work but also get their heads down when needed to get the job done!
