TeamJobs is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a not-for-profit organisation, for an experienced Dependants Health Support Scheme Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and organised individual to join a dedicated Welfare Team, managing a bespoke health support scheme for dependants. You will play a vital role in coordinating healthcare pathways, working closely with statutory services, private healthcare providers, and related professionals.

  • 40,000 DOE
  • Full time - Monday to Friday
  • 25 days holiday - Plus bank holidays
  • Poole, Dorset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Dependants Health Support Scheme, ensuring access to tailored healthcare support for families.
  • Collaborate with NHS services, private healthcare providers, and third-sector organisations to deliver equitable healthcare options.
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers to ensure the highest level of care and support.
  • Advocate for families, helping them navigate healthcare pathways and ensuring they receive the best possible assistance.
  • Maintain and update case records, ensuring compliance with Data Protection regulations.
  • Oversee budgets and ensure services are delivered within financial constraints.
  • Support the wider welfare team as needed and manage the Health Support Scheme Assistant.
  • Complete relevant training, including safeguarding for adults and children, and contribute to team objectives.

What We're Looking For:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in welfare, health, or social care settings.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen empathetically and produce clear reports.
  • Strong networking skills and experience building relationships with healthcare providers.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Budget management skills, with experience working with limited resources.
  • Knowledge of UK GDPR and compliance regulations.
