With a collaborative and supportive culture, this company genuinely invests in HR and understands its impact on success.  As an HR Advisor, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a positive workplace environment, helping employees thrive while ensuring HR processes run smoothly.

As the HR Advisor, you’ll benefit from:

  • Holidays: 23 days per annum plus Bank Holidays
  • Hybrid Working: 1-2 days per week from home
  • A role with real purpose: be a part of a company that values HR and invests in its people
  • Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday: 9am – 5pm (with a 1-hour lunch break)

As the HR Advisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Being a trusted HR partner for employees and managers, offering guidance on policies, best practices, and employment law
  • Supporting recruitment efforts, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and onboarding new hires
  • Championing employee wellbeing, assisting with absence management, occupational health referrals, and wellbeing initiatives
  • Guiding managers through employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, and performance reviews
  • Ensuring HR systems and data are up to date, maintaining accurate records and generating useful insights
  • Staying ahead of HR trends and legislation, keeping policies compliant and continuously improving processes

As the HR Advisor, your skills and experience will include:

  • HR experience particularly in recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration
  • Being a natural people person, someone who builds relationships with empathy, fairness, and professionalism
  • Good organisation, ensuring HR processes run efficiently and accurately
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment law, with the ability to apply it practically
  • Being a proactive problem-solver and always looking for ways to improve processes to support the business
  • A HR qualification (e.g. CIPD Level 3 or above) is preferred but not essential
