An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Conveyancing Secretary to join a dynamic and progressive Conveyancing Department at their office in Poole. The successful candidate will have previous experience in either Residential or Commercial Conveyancing and possess a strong understanding of the process from instruction to completion. This is a full-time position offering a friendly, fun and supportive office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Partner/Conveyancing team.
  • Manage and maintain client files, ensuring all relevant documentation is up to date.
  • Handle audio typing of legal documents, including correspondence, contracts, and forms.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, solicitors, and other third parties.
  • Assist with the preparation of legal documents and prepare for property transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all correspondence and case progress.
  • Ensure that client files are compliant with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Support the team with general administrative tasks as required.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a Conveyancing role, ideally in either Residential or Commercial Conveyancing.
  • Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process, from instruction to completion.
  • Proficient in audio typing and document management.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Friendly and professional manner with a client-focused approach.
  • Experience using legal software is advantageous but not essential.
