Overview
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Production Manager to lead their manufacturing team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CNC, semi-CNC, and manual machining, as well as gear cutting, finishing, and plating operations.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and direct the manufacturing processes for pulleys, gears, and sprockets
  • Oversee the CNC, semi-CNC, and manual machining operations, including lathes and mills
  • Manage the gear cutting, finishing, and plating departments
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with safety regulations
  • Monitor and optimize production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize waste
  • Manage and motivate a diverse team of manufacturing professionals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably in the production of pulleys, gears, or similar components
  • Expertise in CNC, semi-CNC, and manual machining, as well as gear cutting and finishing processes
  • Strong knowledge of quality control and safety standards
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Day-to-day

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize manufacturing processes
  • Supervise and support the production team in meeting daily goals
  • Coordinate with the quality control team to ensure product conformance
  • Address any production challenges that arise, and implement solutions
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and support to team members
