- Running weekly, monthly, and quarterly payrolls for clients
- Managing a portfolio of client payrolls
- Addressing client queries related to payroll
- Collaborating with HMRC regarding employee payments
- Inputting and verifying starters/leavers
- Handling P45s, P69s, holiday pay, salaries, worked hours, overtime, expenses, mileage, bonus payments, and statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP)
- Conducting auto-enrolment reconciliations and assessments
- Generating PAYE schedules for clients, calculating deductions such as student loans, employer’s allowance, and CIS tax suffered
- Establishing new PAYE schemes with HMRC
- Coordinating with pension providers
- Executing RTI year-end procedures, including issuing declarations for client signature and P60s
- Previous experience in a busy payroll position
- Demonstrated success in efficiently managing payrolls of varying sizes with practical knowledge
