Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor looking for an exciting new challenge? An esteemed development group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quantity Surveyor for an immediate start on the prestigious Waterfront project.

About the Project:

The Waterfront project is a landmark development set to transform the riverside landscape valued at over £100M. This ambitious project includes:

Luxury Residences: A collection of high-end apartments designed with contemporary architecture and premium finishes including over 290 homes
Retail Spaces: A vibrant mix of shops, cafes, and restaurants to create a lively community hub
Leisure Facilities and Green Space

Role and Responsibilities:

Ensuring that the project stays within budget by managing costs effectively
Preparing detailed financial reports and budgets
Analysing tenders and procuring subcontractors and suppliers
Drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts with clients, contractors, and suppliers
Conducting regular valuations and managing payment applications
Identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies
Regular visits to the site to monitor progress and ensure compliance with contractual obligations

Requirements:

A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience on high end, large scale residential or commercial projects as a Quantity Surveyor
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
