About the Role:

As a History teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, preparing students for exams, and fostering a love for historical knowledge. You will be part of a collaborative team, contributing to the development of the department and the wider school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging History lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Support and guide students in their academic progress, preparing them for their GCSEs.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to engage students with diverse learning needs.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and resources.
- Support students with pastoral care and help foster a positive and productive classroom environment.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A fully qualified History teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Strong knowledge of the History curriculum and experience teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- A passion for history and an ability to inspire students to achieve their full potential.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
