Vetting Officer, up to £40,000, Poole 

As Vetting Officer, you will be responsible for managing internal and external security clearances whilst providing Vetting as a Service to commercial clients with an objective to grow and expand this offering and client base.

Vetting Officer Responsibilities include: 

  • Managing the vetting application process, this includes liaising with 3rd party vetting providers 
  • Communicating with new and existing clients, up-selling the servicing offering 
  • Responsible for the aftercare process, ensuring compliance with current regulation and guidance.
  • Produce management reports for the board of directors 
  • Taking ownership and reporting of personnel security incidents. 

Vetting Officer Skills & Experience Required: 

  • Previous experience within a process focused/high-volume administrative role would be ideal
  • Previous experience processing security clearance would be desirable
  • Ability to work on own initiative, take ownership of your work load, prioritise and effectively plan your time  
  • Have a proactive, ambitious mindset 
  • Excellent communication skills   
  • Ability to think commercially and generate new ideas
