If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and nurturing school environment in Poole. This role involves working with students in Years 7 to 11, including within a dedicated nurture group that supports children with Autism and anxiety. What Were Looking For:

  • Understands the needs of children with SEMH and Autism, offering empathy and practical support.
  • Has a positive and proactive approach to helping students overcome challenges.
  • Works well in a team, collaborating effectively with teachers, support staff, and families.
  • Demonstrates patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting young people.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or working with children with additional needs is desirable, but not essential if you have the right attitude and transferable skills.

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
