- Manual Handling experience would be ideal but not essential
- Hard worker and fast learner
- Car/transport essential as there is no public transport during the night
- Goods in– receiving and inspecting stock as it comes into the warehouse, putting items away
- Booking goods in, and correctly labelling stock as required.
- Goods out - Create delivery notes for sales orders making sure that the delivery note created is equal to the items being despatched.
- Packaging and labelling finished goods, ready for dispatch
- Stock count and rotation
- Dispatching finished items in an efficient, timely manner, ensuring compliance with quality standards
- Create carrier labels using the company computer system ensuring the labels are applied to the correct parcels.
- Process customer returns - return products to stock, supplier or where required, dispose of items that are not resale worthy
- Maintain stock levels to ensure stocked items, and the MRP are accurate and up to date
- Provide cover or support in other areas of the warehouse, as required
- A hardworking attitude is essential – the warehouse team can be very busy and need someone reliable to work with them.
- Fast learner who is physically fit, in order to move materials / stock around the warehouse.
- PC literate – word, Excel, MRP systems etc.
- Manual handling experience would be ideal
- Friendly, team player
- Happy to work on your own, with little supervision
- Team fit is crucial to the continued success of the efficient warehouse / stores department.
- Please note that you will need to be comfortable working in a warehouse that does get very cold in the winter months – the doors are often open, for deliveries / stock coming in. Warm clothing items are provided for work use.
