Welder/Fabricator (Pipe Welding/Fitting)
Contek are working with a company in Poole who are looking for a Welder/Fabricator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This position is working on a variety of complex projects where you will be assisting in producing large one off fabrications for a variety of industries from Aerospace, Military, Motorsport and Electronics for example.
You must be experienced in Pipe Welding/Fitting to be successful in your application in this position.
Responsibilities;
- TIG/MIG Welding on Pipework and Installations
- Working to technical drawings
- Work as a team or on an individual basis and ensure your weld/fabrication is completed to the required quality.
- Experience with large fabrications working with Stainless, Aluminium and Carbon Steel.
- Work on site where required at installation phase.
Essential and Desired skills;
- Ideally a time served engineer or someone with good experience within the same field
- Apprenticeship served or a solid foundation within engineering
- Comfortably work to drawings
- TIG/MIG welding
The hours for this role are as follows; (40)
Monday to Friday
08:00 - 17:00
There is overtime available in this role.
