Account Desk Manager

Join a fast-growing technology-focused security company specializing in security systems for temporary and remote sites, serving top clients in construction, rail, and civil engineering. This role offers the chance to lead a high-performing service desk team in delivering exceptional customer service and meeting sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of account desk managers, setting clear objectives and providing guidance to achieve performance goals.
  • Ensure delivery of excellent customer service, promptly addressing inquiries and issues while meeting established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Drive the team to meet and exceed sales targets through effective account management and upselling opportunities.
  • Oversee daily operations of the account desk, ensuring efficient processes, adequate staffing, and effective resource allocation.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on customer service metrics, team performance, and sales achievements.
  • Utilise data analytics to assess trends, inform strategic decision-making, and guide team management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the account desk team.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes, incorporating team feedback and implementing new tools and methodologies as needed.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in team leadership and account management
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Action-oriented, with a proactive approach to improving processes and driving results
  • Analytical mindset, with experience in data reporting and KPI management
