We are seeking a skilled and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components. This role requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, as well as proficiency in various software tools and programming languages. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with other engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet project requirements.
Duties
- Design and develop electrical systems and components for various applications.
- Conduct testing and validation of electrical designs to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electrical systems into overall product designs.
- Utilise SolidWorks for creating detailed design models and schematics.
- Write firmware for embedded systems using C++ and Python.
- Perform system design analysis and debugging to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Create simulations using MATLAB to predict system performance under various conditions.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including design reports and user manuals.
- Participate in project meetings to provide updates on progress and address any technical challenges.
Skills
- Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modelling and design.
- Experience with firmware development using C++ and Python programming languages.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use MATLAB for simulations and data analysis.
- Mechanical knowledge to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with debugging techniques for troubleshooting electrical systems.
- Experience with Revit for designing electrical layouts in building projects is advantageous.
- Ability to solder components accurately as part of the assembly process.
- Strong understanding of system design principles to create efficient electrical solutions.
