Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting an experienced Groundworker or Ganger/ Working Supervisor on behalf of their client who are a well-known & established groundwork/ civil engineering subcontractor.

Due to the nature of our client's varied offering, no day is the same and all applicants must be open to taking on other roles to fulfil their service level agreement. These positions will go permanent for the right candidates.

Expected hours: 40 - 50 hours per week Monday to Friday.

You will require a flexible approach to working hours, as overtime (paid at premium rates) and holiday cover will be expected.

Role Purpose:

  • To assist with day-to-day groundwork / civils tasks and reactive works.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in groundworks / civils
  • In-depth knowledge of groundworks processes and construction methods.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Valid CCNSG safety passport or ability to get it.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
  • Full driving license.

  • CPCS / NPORS machine tickets
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • SSSTS
