Outreach Support Worker (Permanent Contract) Supported Accommodation for Young People

Full-time (35 hours) per week

Salary: £20,930 (under review pending increase from 1st April)

We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals, with at least 1 years experience of supporting young people, to join us as a Young Person's Outreach Support Worker delivering trauma-informed, outcome-focussed housing-related support and guidance to the young people accommodated within Dewis.

As a vital member of our Support Team, you will work closely with our Support Officers, taking direction and working flexibly to provide essential support for our young people; this can involve some occasional onsite, weekend and/or evening work to meet their individual needs.

At Dewis we aim to create a safe and secure environment for the young people we support and,as an Outreach Support Worker, you will:

  • Forge strong, trusting relationships.
  • Promote independent living skills and tenancy management.
  • Promote active participation within our service and the community
  • Be flexible and approachable
  • Support our On-Call Team as required providing cover or outreach support
