If the answer is "Yes", then we have an exciting opportunity for you to join as a CAPEX Project Support Clerk. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the project lead and project managers within an ongoing programme.

Role - CAPEX Project Support Assistant

Pay - 11.79 to 12.44ph

Location - TATA Steel UK,Port Talbot, SA13 2NG (Hybrid potential after training)

Shift pattern - Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM - 4:45 PM; Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:45 PM

Duration - 12-month contract with potential for extension

Start - As soon as offered and completing the onboarding process

Responsibilities:

Assisting end-users in identifying suitable suppliers through existing contracts or quotations

Creating, processing, and closing purchase orders, ensuring order coverage and timely payments

Supporting the Purchase to Pay (P2P) process, reviewing requests, and ensuring compliance

Assisting stakeholders with requests for quotations

Liaising with the front-line team, finance, procurement and senior management in regards to urgent requests

Resolving invoicing issues

Facilitating departmental cost meetings

Maintaining weekly commitment data, Facilitating departmental PDCA meetings

Monitoring external purchase orders paying attention to repeatable spend

Experience needed:

Prior experience in an administrative role (2+years), particularly in project support or procurement

Full UK Driving license and access to own vehicle

Experience in purchase order processing and financial tracking

Knowledge of procurement and finance procedures

Capacity to operate with minimal supervision in a dynamic setting

Must be a confident user of IT systems who records data effectively and accurately

Experience using MS Office

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Desirable experience:

Knowledge and experience using SAP
