Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized NCES Fines Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate data input, managing data queries, handling telephone inquiries, and performing general office duties. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is proactive, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input and update data related to fines and related records in internal systems.
  • Address and resolve data queries, ensuring all information is correct and up to date.
  • Handle incoming telephone calls, responding to inquiries and providing appropriate assistance or directing calls as necessary.
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and procedures related to fines processing.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records and reports related to fines and enforcement.

Requirements:

  • BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) clearance required.
  • Standard DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check required.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize effectively.
  • Previous office or administrative experience is preferred.
