Reed HR are proud to be supporting a leading manufacturing company based in Neath. You will work closely with the HR Manager to implement the People Strategy and support leaders in all HR-related activities. This is an initial 6 month on-site fixed term contract 

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Advise and support line managers on a full range of employee relations queries including attendance, investigations, capability, and flexible working.
  • Review and update role profiles ensuring line manager involvement.
  • Assist in developing recruitment campaigns and coordinating the appointment process for successful applicants.
  • Support the HR Manager in reviewing HR Policies to ensure legal compliance.
  • Lead the Attendance Management Process including advising on and managing occupational health referrals.
  • Support the HR Manager with all other operational issues which may arise.
  • Attend formal meetings, ensuring accurate records are taken, and advising on process where necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Level 3 CIPD.
  • Previous work experience as an HR Advisor, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of stakeholders.
  • Driven, determined, and resilient.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation.
