Sonic Summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking School Support Mentors for a special needs school focused on children with autism and social emotional and mental health needs.
Candidates with both experience and limited experience in this field are encouraged to apply, provided they have a passion for learning.
The positions are temporary and full-time, starting ASAP, with hours from 8:45 am to 3:20 pm, Monday to Friday during term time.
The minimum salary for this role is £87.90, and there is potential for contract extension or a permanent position based on performance.
Applicants should possess some understanding of childcare and special educational needs, along with recent safeguarding training, which can be provided by Prospero.

School support mentor -

Prospero Teaching are looking for a number of School support mentors to work within a special needs school, which caters for children with autism and social emotional and mental health needs.

These positions are open to individuals who may have experience working with these special needs, and to those who have limited experience but a passion to learn more within this field. Depending on performance, the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

A level of understanding about childcare and special educational needs

Some experience working with children

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year - Prospero can provide this
