Site Manager

Location: Portgordon, Scotland

The Site Leader will have full responsibility for the efficient and compliant operation of a multi-site hub. This includes strategic leadership, financial management, compliance, and team development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing day-to-day operations across multiple sites, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
  • Managing financial performance, including full P&L accountability.
  • Leading and developing a high-performing team, fostering a strong safety culture.
  • Driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Acting as the key point of contact for third-party stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements

Essential skills and experience:

  • At least 20 years of experience in operations, including 5+ years at a senior leadership level.
  • Proven track record of continuous improvement with a LEAN, 6SIGMA approach.
  • Strong knowledge of production or manufacturing operations, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
  • Experience managing P&L and budgets, with a track record of driving profitability.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with experience managing teams of 10+ people.
  • A deep understanding ofsafety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) compliance.
  • The ability to analyse complex data and make informed decisions.
  • A degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline, or equivalent experience.
