A highly respected engineering and design firm, specialising in bespoke projects, is seeking a talented and experienced Architect to join their dynamic team in Portsmouth. With a reputation for excellence in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions, this company provides an opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, from cutting-edge commercial developments to bespoke residential structures.

The successful Architect will have sufficient experience post Part 3 qualification and will be confident working through all RIBA stages. You will have creative design flare and excellent technical abilities. Revit proficiency is essential.

Skills, Responsibilities and Experience for the role of Architect:

  • A degree in Architecture and accreditation with ARB or RIBA
  • Proven experience in architectural design and project delivery across residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments
  • Proficiency in architectural design software
  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and planning processes
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations, planning requirements, and sustainability best practices
  • Manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining quality, timeframes, and budgets
  • Engage with clients to understand their vision, offer creative design solutions, and provide professional advice throughout the project lifecycle
