An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Senior Architect to take a leading role in a well-established and thriving architectural practice. This position is ideal for an experienced professional who is effectively running a practice or leading a team and is ready to take ownership of high-profile projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across various sectors, with a particular focus on Ministry of Defence (MOD) projects. They will oversee teams, liaise with clients, and drive the business forward with their expertise and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage architectural projects from concept to completion.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of architects and other construction professionals.
  • Engage directly with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Drive business development and contribute to the strategic growth of the practice.
  • Work on MOD-related projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and security protocols.

Ideal Candidate:

  • ARB/RIBA registered with extensive experience in architecture.
  • Proven leadership and management skills within a practice or large team.
  • Strong technical knowledge, particularly in UK planning and building regulations.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other industry-standard software.
  • Experience working on MOD projects is highly desirable. Other sectors include Residential, Healthcare and Commercial projects.
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
