Audio Visual Technician - Education Sector

Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire (with travel throughout the South of England)

The Company:

Our client is a leading provider of audio-visual solutions for schools, colleges, and universities across the South of England and beyond. They design, install, and maintain cutting-edge AV systems that enhance teaching and learning experiences.

About the Role:

As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for the installation and configuration of various audio-visual equipment in educational settings. This includes:

  • Installing projectors, interactive whiteboards, sound systems, video conferencing equipment, and other AV technologies.
  • Configuring and testing systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Providing basic training to teachers and staff on how to use the new equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that may arise.
  • Working closely with the project managers and sales team to ensure successful project completion.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in AV installation and configuration.
  • Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the South of England.
